Upon arrival, furnace was short cycling. Found high limit tripping. Went ahead and checked blower found blower cage, seized and motor over amping. Motor would not run at all. Went ahead and replaced blower and capacitor. Checked supply and return temps for heat rise. He rise is 46°. Heat rise is in spec. No further issues found at this time on HVAC system.
Modular furnace install with ac recovery and line set connected back. Turned breaker off for removal process. Recovered refrigerant and progressed line set back together, connected new gas shut off, gas flex, reconnected ac drains back into existing, new roof jack, siliconed entire bottom of roof jack laying flat onto roof, then siliconed edge of roof jack and screws for any leaks, checked for co2 leaks and found none, turned system to heat and was running beyond 20 mins. Installed smoke and cos per fire code. System left to heat 68 upon leaving. Will return for ac side homeowner aware. Recovered 2lbs 2.75oz of r22, due to cold weather may or may not be exact amount of refrigerant in system. Used propress couplings on lineset cutting places, will need to return on another day with r22 to charge system along with vacuum of lineset before charging. AC is in very rough shape, possible R22 refrigerant leak, AC issues will be further assessed in the Springtime when we can get good reading
Double check patches for proper gauge metal applied. Everything is up to requirments.
Customer stated that tankless water heater was putting out lukewarm water for his bathtub. System setpoint was at 140° system day. Provide hot water at sink. Call tech-support to see how much per minute the tankless water heater was put out. Tech-support stated 4.4 to 4.5 gallons per minute. Took a 5 gallon bucket to measure in one minute. Tankless water heater does provide 4.4 to 5 gallons per minute of hot water. No further issues found at this time.
Deed holder to home must apply for loan. Emailed quotes. Cash/check or card also accepted. Inducer Motor is bad, not triggering pressure switch to signal gas release, could also have an ignitor/ gas valve but inducer needs replaced as a first step (other issues will be present) Clients opted to replace furnace instead, will have funds by Monday, payment upon completion.
Install Tomorrow Greensky Financed New Clarks Member Durastar full hvac system. Recovered refrigerant into compressor and closed king valves for removal process. Removed and replaced old with new. New thermostat, gas flex, sediment trap, exhaust from unit to common using strap for support in every 4 ft, used pukey tape to seal in between connecting joints of system, new condensate pump, cs2 overflow switch for indoor coil, wired safeties in of both condensate pump and cs2 overflow switch for safety measures, brazed limeset in pressure checking above 320 psi and pressure held, pulled vacuum below Manu specs and let refrigerant go. House already had all but 1 co detector for main level, turned system on to verify proper working order for over 15 mins and system left to heat 72 upon leaving. Job complete.
Arrived today to troubleshoot a 2002 modular home furnace. Dead upon arrival, jumpers placed on wires with tstat jumped, system fires up as normal with all boards jumped. Replacement board and high limit needed, system is old and low levels of carbon are hitting IN register when furnace is running, 0ppm in vents when it's not (to confirm it's not fireplace.) Came out today to do a air duck cleaning cleaned the vent and registers and the returns
Found that the commercial dryer venting is impacted with excessive amounts of lint. Termination is 30-40' straight shot out above drop ceiling.

No one showed up at my appointment time but showed up 4 hours late, but it was a free check up on my 7 thousand dollar furnace. People with money come first, my wife took her lunch to ask questions but that didn't work out for us. So happy I guess with furnace but office should let us know of delay.

Our heat stopped working in the dead of winter. Clarks mechanical sent out a technician right away. Coral was professional, kind and super knowledgeablean all around professional. We ended up needing a new thermostat, which she provided three quotes forso we could choose the best option for us. Super helpful and thorough.
