Came out to but says 2004 air ease air conditioning system that is making a noise. Homeowner stated that it's happening later in the day when it is hotter. Cooling Delta did not test within tolerance. Could not replicate the sound completely today, there are multiple issues with the system. The contactor is burning severely. Compressor windings tested in yellow zone, Compressor is going bad. System is charged with R22 refrigerant, multiple issues with furnace as well. Needs tested for safety. Static pressure is poor out of coil. Nesds further inspection. Homeowner stated they will use home warranty and no further diagnostic is needed. System will continue to have isssues. Payment collected by check, call complete.
Regular maintenance service on two condensing mini split units. Condenser on left side of home facing the street has three cassette heads. Condenser unit on right side of home has two cassette heads. Turned all units on heating and cooling to verify operation. Tenant claims they have to reset the cassette in the hallway and primary bedroom frequently to initiate operation. All cassette heads cooling 22+ degrees below set temperature. All cassettes heating 28/32° above set temperature. All units turned on and cycled normally when testing. Removed all cassette filters and cleaned. Spray down each cassette head with no rinse, evaporator coil cleaner. Moved to outside units to clean and test. Tested and attached all pressure readings individually to account. Regular dirt buildup on condensing units. Cleaned both condensers with coil cleaner and water. Successfully reassembled all units for final testing. Tested each head on heating and cooling to finish. due to individual heads testing bet
Serviced a 2005 Evcon furnace, finding issues like oil leaks, pitting igniter, low static pressure, and overheating. The exchanger has holes due to improper water drainage. Also detected low carbon monoxide levels and notified the homeowner. Left detailed estimates and will follow up.

Completed furnace maintenance on a 1-year-old Goodman unit. All components were in excellent condition. Cleaned the flame sensor, ensuring optimal performance. Verified heat rise and solid blue flame. System is functioning perfectly.

We noticed an unusual smell when our AC kicked on one day last week. After many years of using a large, well-known Pueblo HVAC company whose service (in my estimation) has suffered after being bought out by an even larger non-local entity, I was looking for someone smaller, local, competent, and responsive. Clarks Mechanical met all the criteria. The lady I spoke to in their office was professional, friendly, and promptly scheduled a service call for the next day. On the service day, I was notified when the tech was on his way (on time as promised). The tech, Levi Acuna, was outstanding. Like the office personnel, he was friendly and professional. He also proved his competence, quickly diagnosing that the smell was coming from a blower motor burning out. He contacted a distributor, made arrangements to get a new motor, and handled all the red tape to ensure the cost of the part was covered under the still-in-effect warranty. As this was on a Friday, and because the new motor wouldn't be available to install until Monday, he offered to bring out a portable AC unit to help get us through the 100-degree temps expected that weekend. On Monday, he arrived before the promised time and quickly and efficiently installed the new motor, got the system running, and made sure all the numbers were checking out as they should before leaving. The entire process was no stress/no mess, with Levi demonstrating high-level expertise, follow through, personableness and a commitment to customer-focused service and transparency. He was also an excellent communicator. Clarks Mechanical proved to be exactly what I was looking for -- local, responsive, nimble, and highly competent. Moving forward, Clarks and Levi are my new go-to HVAC resources.

We had a HVAC system maintenance and was told that our A/C system was a 2 ton and needed a 3 ton, which we knew after the fact when we built our house in 2016. So we bit the bullet and had Clarks Mechanical, clean our duct and vents. They did a good job with the cleaning of the vents and ducts. One complaint was the floor cover blankets were dirty and had dog hair that was left on our floors. Other than that we were happy with the before and after pictures of everything they did. We also had them install a new Rheem A/C unit. Christopher was personable, professional and did a good job on the installation. Also, a shout out to Coral for her explanations and reassurances during, and after, the installation of our new A/C units. We are now enjoying true comfort inside as summer approaches. We look forward to a cool summer and lower energy bills. I recommend Clarks Mechanical and will continue to use them to service our HVAC system in the future.
